LDAP EOAdaptor

The latest version is 0.9.1, which you can find here, covered by GNU's LGPL. There is also a diff patch file from the previous version here, and a full listing of that sort of thing here. This is mostly an update to make sure the adaptor runs under Mac OS X Server and WebObjects 4.0. If you're still stuck with WebObjects 3.5, there's a tar file with makefiles and PB.project files for WebObjects 3.5 right here. Just untar it right into the same place you untarred the source archive.

The LDAP EOAdaptor is an Enterprise Objects Framework designed to let developers access an LDAP directory with EOF applications that were created using an EOAdaptor. This includes, but is not limited to, Apple's WebObjects. More information can be found on the following pages:

WebObjects 4.5 appears to include an LDAP EOAdaptor, so I guess my version is officially unsupported now. Still, if you have any questions, you can reach me, Ryan Krebs, at fluffy@simons-rock.edu.

Thanks go to Luke Howard for his help with pointers (nasty little devils) and some LDAP stuff. Also to Joe Little for giving me the opportunity to do all this. And of course to Apple for delivering the insanely great products.
